Roslep Brewery was founded in 2021, but our story in Noarootsi began a year earlier. In 2020, Marko and Karin decided to leave city life behind and move to Noarootsi — a peaceful place where the sea, forests, and slower rhythm of life come together.

During the Covid-19 period, Marko developed a strong interest in learning the art of brewing beer. What started as curiosity and small homebrew experiments soon grew into a true passion for craft beer, and before long, the idea of creating a small family brewery was born. That is how Roslep Brewery came to life in 2021.

Our home village is called Rooslepa — historically known as Roslep — which is where the brewery got its name. We wanted a name that reflects our home village while also being memorable and easy to recognize for international visitors.

Located in the historic Coastal Swedish region of Estonia, our beers are inspired by the old villages of Noarootsi and carry their traditional Swedish names. Every bottle label also features a small map showing the location of the village connected to that beer. In this way, each beer carries a piece of local history, heritage, and sense of place.

Our goal is to brew both timeless classics and exciting new flavor combinations. Today, our selection includes 9 different craft beers. With a brew size of 159 liters and three 159-liter fermenters, we are proud to be one of the smallest breweries in Estonia.

Roslep Brewery is a true family business, built together with the help of our family and friends. From brewing to bottling and labeling, every bottle passes through our own hands. That is why we can proudly call ourselves a genuine 100% craft brewery. We do not use automated bottling lines or high-tech labeling machines — only craftsmanship, dedication, and a love for great beer.

At the heart of our brewery are the carefully selected brewing systems we trust the most: BrewTools from Norway and Speidel from Germany.
